Happy New Year's Eve!

I am so looking forward to a wonderful, joyous, prosperous new year, filled with love, laughter, light, and hope! :-)

We had a wonderful Christmas with our eldest son and his girlfriend visiting from Portland. They spent 4 days with us, and we went out to a nice dinner, and saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie... visited, laughed, watched T.V., ate way too much, opened gifts, and had a fantastic visit. I only wish our youngest son could have joined us as well, but he had to work the day before and the day after Christmas, so the trip to Bend would have been too far for just the day. I understand; I just miss him! But at least one of our boys, and his girlfriend (whom we absolutely adore), were here with us.

The kids headed back over the mountains on Tuesday, and I've been working hard ever since, listing a bunch of new items on Hannah's PinKeep, as well as doing some site clean-up and reorganizing. I've added optional links for viewing all the patterns grouped both by the designers and by seasons/holidays. I think this will be a well-received addition; especially with the huge number of patterns we're up to now! And, I still have several boxes stacked next to my computer, just waiting for the contents to be sorted and listed as well. Looks like I'll be adding more new goodies every day for quite awhile yet! What a great way to ring in the new year. :-)

Oh, and one more thing: In case you weren't already aware, Hannah's offers some impressive discounts on all our products to our fellow online retailers who sell their own patterns and/or handmade wares! Check out the link entitled "Discounts (D.A.D. Club)" when you next visit us. Happy, Happy New Year!

Happy December!

I'm really proud of myself lately! ;-) I've been working quite a bit on adding lots of new goodies to my inventory. Got a shipment of some beautiful Shetland wools the other day, and they're now listed and ready to order. I'm working on adding DMC flosses (not the entire palette, but a good portion of them; I'll be avoiding the overly bright colors and sticking with those that work for more primitive-style projects), and today I decided to go ahead and list patterns by other designers again after all. I know... I'd had delusions of grandeur that I was going to finish up a few new patterns of my own every week! And nope, that's just not happening (but don't give up on me completely! There will still be a new one from time to time). So since it turns out that I do NOT actually have super powers when it comes to getting my pattern designs put together and listed for sale, I've re-listed some various patterns I still had in stock, and I've ordered more from 3 different designers so far, with others to come soon.

I hope you all have wonderful plans for Christmas and will be spending it with loved ones. It seems our youngest son has to work both the day before and the day after the holiday again, so he won't be making it home for Christmas (he wasn't able to come for Thanksgiving, either; in fact, neither of our boys made it home for Thanksgiving). Our oldest son and his girlfriend are still formulating plans for their holiday travel; all I know so far is that they plan to come for a visit "some time in December" but they still need to figure out the logistics and let me know. Sure hope we get to see them sometime soon! Our last family gathering with our boys was my niece's wedding in early July, so we're due for some family time again.

Wishing you all a joyous, wonderful weekend and holiday season!

The Return!

I'm happy to announce that I've finally decided on my strategy for Hannah's! While I am still closing out all remaining patterns from other designers (many of which you'll find listed in the "Clearance" section, available at deep discounts, right now!) in favor of listing my own designs (I have 3 patterns out now, and many more on their way), I've also decided to reinstate many of the supply items from before, and to add some brand-spankin' new ones as well!

As of today, I'm in the process of re-listing most WoolFelt ® colors for sale in either full yards or fat quarters. I'm also part-way done listing assorted colors of silk matka. This is a fabulous fabric that starts out very smooth, almost like a shiny linen... the magic, however, happens when you wash your matka; it fades in color and develops a wonderful nubby texture, perfect for your primitive and old-time projects! Washed matka just has the look and feel of a very, very old fabric. Use it to make and/or accent all kinds of primitive and colonial style items; you'll LOVE the look!

I'm also going to re-list DMC flosses, but not all; only the very best of their rich, muted, earthy primitive colors. And, I'm starting accounts with The Gentle Art and Valdani, and I hope to offer their flosses soon as well.

I also placed an order today for another big batch of 100% linen evenweave fabrics for all your cross-stitch projects, both in 28 ct. and in 32 ct. I picked out some fabulous prim colors that are sure to please, and I can't wait to use some of these pieces as well! And, I'll be re-listing several quilt-shop-quality cotton fabrics soon; prints, homespun plaids, striped ticking, and solids!

The adorable black-matte finish needlework scissors, Love, and Putford, are back in stock, and I'll soon be adding another style called Fleur, that are equally as adorable. And, I'm still hoping to eventually add punch-needle and rug-making supplies and patterns as well.

I'd like to thank all of Hannah's friends for your patronage, support, and patience! Things are starting to come together again, and I hope that Hannah's PinKeep will become one of your very favorite online stores soon!

Happy Halloween,
Jodi

New patterns, and our first official "Kit" option!

We got in a couple more adorable, brand-new patterns from Penny Lane Primitives the other day, and the one in particular is so darned cute, we just had to offer it in a "kit" option! Problem is, I didn't anticipate the HUGE response we got! Long story short, we're filling those orders as quickly as we can, in the order in which they were received... and, I've ordered more of the wool felt colors, so we should be able to finish sending out those ordered kits within another 1 - 2 weeks when the next wool-felt shipment arrives here. And, we ordered what should hopefully be plenty extra, to fill quite a few more orders for this adorable kit. So feel free to submit your orders, and we'll send out these kits just as soon as we are able. :-)

You tell us: How cute is this?

And you can order just the pattern, the pattern plus the DMC flosses, or our full kit, which includes the pattern, the flosses, and enough of the various colors of wool felt to make one mat (with extra wool felt to spare in most of the colors used). Here's the direct link to this, and all of Penny Lane Primitives', incredibly cute patterns:

In other news: Unfortunately, the company I had ordered muslin and Osnaburg through... well, suffice it to say, it didn't turn out well. I waited (and repeatedly tried contacting them) for almost 2 weeks before finding out that they didn't have the Osnaburg in stock and wouldn't for over an additional full month! So I'm going to be ordering the same two products from another company soon. Just waiting until we can meet their minimum for that initial wholesale purchase, and we'll get the muslins ordered. Sorry for any inconvenience! We hope to have them available well before this new month ends.

Finally, don't forget that Hannah's offers every-day tiered discounts for ALL our customers on ALL your orders! The prices listed for our products only reflect what you will pay if your order is for less than $25. Order more, though, and watch for those discounts to be automatically taken in your shopping cart! :-)

Orders for $25 to $49.99 receive 10% off; orders for $50 to $74.99 receive 15% off; and orders for $75 or more receive a full 20% off! So keep that in mind when you're doing your shopping with us; we even have products (like the new kit, for example) that are priced at over $25... and this means that you will ALWAYS pay less than the listed price just for ordering a single quantity of any of those particular products! :-) So take advantage of our every-day tiered discounts and stock up on all your favorite fabrics, patterns, and other sewing and needlework supplies.

Happy crafting! :-)
